Portion Control Made Simple 🇮🇳

You don't need a food scale.

You don't need to stop eating rice.

You don't need expensive "diet foods."

You just need a better balance on your plate.


🥗 Fill HALF your plate with vegetables.


🍛 Keep rice, roti, poha, idli, dosa or khichdi to about ONE QUARTER of your plate.


🥚 Use the remaining QUARTER for protein:dal, chana, rajma, paneer, curd, eggs, fish or chicken.

đź’ˇ Indian food isn't the problem.


The problem is when the plate becomes:

🍚 Rice + Rice + More Rice

or

🥔 Potato + Roti + Fried Snacks with very little protein or fibre.


Try this instead:

âś… More sabziâś… More dalâś… More curdâś… More proteinâś… Same foods you love


Because portion control isn't about eating less.
